Ok so I have a 98 gtp and have been trying to figure out whats going on. It sends a code for a small evap leak. I bought a new gas cap, replaced the service port under the hood with vac line clapped down tight got a smog test on it and we saw smoke out of the canister solenoid so replaced that with a new one...any ideas what's cause the leak? Also if I but a canned tune pcm from any of the websites and specify the evap code turn off/delete would it still read the evap readiness ok and will it pass the emission test?
 


Being a 98, it could be a clamp or hose leading to the tank, the o-ring on top of the tank for the pump etc. There's a few things that could cause this..
 
Yeah its driving me insane cuz that's the only code stopping me from getting the test done...and iv all ready gotten a ticket for failure to register...and I have to blanket to drive sadly
