EVAP Leak

After installing my headers, my car threw a code for an Evap system leak. I've replaced the evap solenoid and a busted vacuum line off of said solenoid. I did find a b-nut connection which will be pictured that was disconnected but I see no where to connect it. Just wondering if it is my headers or if this connection has something to do with it.


Below is the b-nut I'm talking about, similar ones are connected to the box just below it, I figure is something to with the fuel system.

Idk what's wrong with the link, I tried resetting it to get it to work. Is a male threaded but, but I can't find a female side to thread it into. We call it a b-nut in the military maintenance world, I don't know what else is called.
 


thats a line nut in the civilian world. we use a line wrench on it. not evap related all like stated already.


im guessing you have a 97-03 if you do theres this fat vac line from the tb to the evap solenoid on the back of the engine, it cracks.

the repair is a fat line that fits the port, then a smaller pushed inside the fat one to the hard plastic line.

Line nut, I'll keep that in mind, I'll go take a look at said vacuum line, the smaller line did come out super easy, so maybe it's cracked some where that isn't visible easily.
 
mine cracked in the curve of the line. theres a damn good chance you leaned on it and it cracked. they are very brittle after 15 years of heat.
 


you got the evap plugged back in? or make sure its plugged in still. clips break off and crap happens when your doing work.

whats the code your getting? leak or voltage?
 
could be the gas cap. its on right? id clear the code, take the gas cap off and put it back on, then drive the car and see if it comes back.

i live in NJ, so i dont have to pump my own gas, dummy left my cap loose and the light came on with in blocks of the fill up, checked the cap, made that tight and the light went off in a few blocks on its own.
 
That was one of the first things I did, no fix. I'm thinking I hit something while installing my headers, I'll do some more looking around tomorrow during the day.
