i run an M5 nozzle (5 gph). ill see what i can run for timing with the meth, but as soon as i toss the e85 into the situation this car is going to be a whole 'nother animal.
i cant wait for e85....
Is there anywhere to get it around here?
The closest gas station to my house in Germantown, MD serves E85. There is also another down the road from me.
I'm looking on e85prices.com and I'm not seeing any stations in Waynesboro. There are about 25 stations spread out through PA though.
You said you worked in Frederick, right? If so there is a Chevron on West Patrick St., the Golden Mile I believe.
I'm not sure if there are any on your way home from work or what not.
says you..a guy with a cam.![]()
I would say the only way if yu want to run 3.2 or have a chance with your mods you would have to run 100 octane fuel all the time. No mixing straight with some xylen added.. Also 160 tst Fans rest to match the tst and set of new plugs 103 or ngk...
So if you see KR you get a SMALLER pulley? How does that work? When you see KR that means the pulley is too small...the general conscious about having a little bit of KR is bull****. Any KR is bad. 1* of KR can rob your car of anywhere from 5-10hp depending on your application...I'd rather run a bigger pulley with no KR then a little bit smaller pulley with 1*-2*. My bigger pulley would out run you on an identical car IMO.If it was my car i would try the 3.4 try what i said see how much kr.. if i saw 1 i would go down to 3.3 if you saw some then thats why you make the decison to go farther..
I run crap 91 and had no KR on my 3.1" setup...no IC or Meth. Who in the hell sells 100 octane at the pump anyways that you can find on a consistent basis...most common everywhere is 92-94. AL103's are too cold of a plug for his mods anyways...

I think if you see 0 then go down to 3.3 if you see 1 with 3.3 then change plus to 103 then go to 3.2.. and that might work.. if you think cold plugs and bad mpg. then buy a inercooler
No. Wrong. Just because you put colder plugs in a car doesn't mean you can drop pulley sizes. Did ZZP tell you that? If you bought a intercooler to begin with you could run plain old 91 and drop to a 3.2" KR free with a good tune IMO. I'm not saying you can't throw 100 octane at a car with a 3.3" with 1*-3* of KR and get rid of it and maybe even drop to a 3.2" with no KR still...but I wouldn't just rely on a higher octane to keep KR levels down. Also...there is no way changing to a colder range spark plug (Autolite 103's vs. Autolite 104's)means you can drop another pulley size. That is like saying you can drop a pulley size because you got 3" Exhaust piping for the catback vs. 2.5". Not happening. Not really trying to break it off in your ass but if some kid comes in here not knowing anything and says oh hey...I can drop a pulley size if I run colder plugs because this guy says so...then we'll have to hear about him and his blown motor and why he couldn't run a 3.4" with Autolite 103's and no other mods. I know this because when I first got my GTP I listened to ZZP. Hence why I lost my motor a year after. I just don't want to see someone else go through the bull**** I had to because they enjoy the same aspect of life a lot of other people on here do...going fast :th_biggrin2:
sooner or later i just wont have to post anymore because im helping people know whats up. thanks dude.![]()
