Ok guys now I know this isn't the most intelligently planned or executed test of the 2 being as they are about 1ft apart.I am well aware that they may interfere with each other. I just wanted to perform a side by side test. Regardless it proves I made the right choice going with the RL vs keeping my 9500ix.
Here's the story : Brand new Redline vs freshly serviced 9500ix against 33.8 KA Des Moines PD if you looked closely near the end of the video he has his lights on (left side of Freeway @2:00). It's hard to see but he then pulls off and nails another - he was probably a mile or 2 up the road when both alerted
The Redline clearly alerted about 4 seconds before the 9500ix which is valuable time in any case. I actually did the test vs the same fuzz 3 times the 9500ix only alerted quicker 1 time by about half a second (although at the time it was mounted higher on the WS)
The 9500ix also nearly lost the signal a few times throughout the video
I only took video on the last pass FYI
