I checked my car for codes and got these codes, but I wouldnt know where to start to fix the problem or what exactly they mean, If anyone can help me with this please.. much appreciated.:confused:

1DTC P0171 Fuel Trim System Lean Bank

DTC P0420 Catalyst System Low Efficiency

DTC P0650 Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Control Circuit
 


so Its the o2 sensor then... hhm I just changed them about 3 months ago, so im gonna say the cat is clogged.

so what exactly should I do about the vac leak, is there a way to fix, like something I could buy, and about the MIL sensor im a little lost about that one two.
 
you can spray carb cleaner around the motor while its running to see if the idle rise's and for the cat, it if was clogged then you would have all kinds of driveiably problem, like poor throttle responese, bad mpg's, car would run like crap, so unless you have any other things wrong i wouldnt think that its the cat
 


ok so I sprayed carb cleaner and did find some leaks, How would I patch these or what can I use, and for the cat I do get bad Mpg's and the throttle responce isnt that good, would I need to buy a new cat.
 
if the leaks are on hoses i would try and tape then up or just replace them if there on the fittings then you may just need a new ring or seal..as for the cat..whats your exhaust smell like?..if it smells roten then yea its bad
