Epic tractor build........

Still factory oil filter on mine too Bill. I will be changing the oil this winter and replacing that filter with another one that is not Briggs. I am using Valvoline Next Gen oil in the Briggs. Since I reset the hour meter somehow, I know how many hours are on the engine and when to change the oil. Had a guy tell me to do the 1st oil change at 50hrs and then every 100hrs after that. I may get 50 hours in this year lol
 


I went old school on oil. Did it after 5 hours on the brand new motor. Now I'm at 32 hours (picked up 5+ this weekend) and I'll likely change it at 50 on the meter for kicks
 
I took the plug wire off and let the oil circulate for a little bit before I started the engine. I imagine its hard to screw something up, but I wasn't taking any chances.
