So I know the engine in my car is new, but i just found out the previous owner bought it from autzone.. are the engines they sell any good??

its probably from GM, through autozone. or possibly another place that rebuilds them for autozone. its not an autozone motor, ha.

It's from Autozones reman factory...I'll get the exact specs...but it isn't GM.

I dont trust 90% of autozone parts.

If it is running fine I would not worry about it.

I dont know how to explain it.. but do you know when your going up a hill or your on the highway accelerating and instead of shifting down it will drop the rpms lower and use boost to accelerate until it shifts down?

Thats completely normal n/a cars do it too, its just a higher load on the engine.

well when it does that i can hear a ticking noise.. idk if its the valves or something else. its not knock either
