Engine Whine?

I've had my 2008 Grand Prix for a little over a week now and I've noticed from time to time that there seems to be a whine along with my exhaust note during acceleration/revving. It does it in all shifter positions and there is no hard shifts or anything like that.

Any idea what it might be? It's not really annoying or anything but I've never heard an N/A engine make a noise like this before.

Got a sound clip? Does it still have a warranty? If so, might wanna take it to the dealer.
 
I never even thought to check the PS fluid.

Yeah, lots of warranty left on it so I'll likely take it down this week, few other little quirks need fixing too.
 
My '06 has also always had a whine to it, and my moms 01 does too, I think its the power steering pump as well.
