here's the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TbnTxSvDvY

please let me know anything! i leave for 6 months here in 2 weeks and i dont want the car to die or blow up or something while my wife is driving it. thanks!

Does it sound like it's coming from the block? or the head?

Could be something as simple as lifter tick.

sounds like a messed up lifter. id pull the valve cover off and see how it looks (front is easy, backs kinda a hassle just to see.

Kind of sounds like a flex-plate....but it wouldnt go away with being warmed up...

Could be a bad rod bearing...but that'd require pulling the motor.

Could always drain the oil, and check for metal shavings, that'd pretty much let you know the extent of the damage....

just changed the oil like last monday and no metal in there at all

How is taking the front head off going to let him see anything with the rod bearings?

I meant valve cover and if u cant see anything there take off the intake manifold,i also meant just taking some stuff off the top of the motor to see if you see anything outta wack.U cant really get to the rod bearing without removing motor :th_shakinghead2:
