engine swap question

i have a doner car with very low mileage and its ready for the engine and transmission to be pulled im just wondering if i can do a straight engine, transmission swap to my 97 from a 2001 gtp? im leaving the 97 throttle body.

trans line hookups will be different... injector connectors will be different.... you will need to put a ~01 gtp pcm in it.

Scott...why would he need an 01 pcm? TCC strategy?

Trans lines, yes.
he could definately put the 97 TB on it.
He should be able to reuse his injectors from the 97

You should use the TB for the PCM you use.

If you put this stuff into a 97 shell with 97 wiring. You need to use the 97 pcm .

The trans lines to the rad are different or the wiring?

both are, your going to need the wire harness off the 97 and its pcm it seems. and the trans lines. thats how im reading it.
