engine swap question!

prety sure the engine in my gtp is done, wich sucks. so i found one cheap but he will only hold it till fri. so is there any difference in a 98 gtp and a 2000 gtp. will it bolt right up? wire right up? my computer work? i dont wanna go buy a engine that wont work or is a lot of work to make work. thanks in advance. mines the 98.
 


you've gotta swap TB's at the very least.

I'm not sure if the alt will work so you might have to swap the alt and alt brackets as well.
