Engine Rpm

So i think i have an issue. This morning i took the car out for a run up town. I punch it and it seemed it didn't have to go as before. When i brought it home i put it in park and pucnch it again WOT it reved up to 3800 then down to 3200 and stayed there with my foot to the floor. The s/c only cut in for a sec then it was off.

Any one got any ideas. the only thing i did was spray the TB with TB cleaner coz it was yuky!

When sitting still, it has a rev limiter that prevents it from reving over 4000RPM.
