Hey guys, first time here , which is to bad because i could have really used this site.. Does anyone know the process of removing the engine from my 2001 gt, i have an exhaust leak from the rear manifold, if anyone can help or can provide a link that would rock!! or maybe a way to fix the leak without removing the motor, ill continue searching the site in case this has already been brought up, thanx!!!!

that would be sweet if i didnt, do you think i would be able to just roll the motor over to be able to change the rear manifold gasket, id be a very happy man if thats the case, if so do i disconnect the exhaust first then roll it over to remove the gasket, if anyone has done this type of work any advise would be great, also what else should be disconnected before i roll the motor, all i know so far is that i have a fairly good leak coming from the rear of the motor, any insight would be awesome

yea just disconect the upper mounts(dog bones) adn roll the motor. cant think of anything else that really calls for special attention.

sweet, ill give that a try this weekend, no matter how nice a car looks the sound of that leak makes it sound like a piece of sh*t

OMFG my hands hurt, what kind of little elves did they hire to put that engine compartment together????? Ah well , the job is done, turns out it was a crack in my ehxaust manifold!!, just welded it up and threw in some new gaskets and she's purring like a kitten, please tell me replacing the steering pump is gonna be easier
