engine oil...

I have a 98 gtp with 280,000 miles and i just recently put head gasket on it. I was just wondering with the high miles on it. What type of oil should i put in it. By the way i live in Arizona, so could i get away with using a thicker weight of oil???

Did you just change one head gasket? Why did you change it in the first place?

10w30 conventional, you live in warmer weather, I'd run thicker there.
