hey everybody i have a question I can't seem to find an answer to in forums i searched. I have an 05 gt that for some reason will sporadically not start on first attempt. I hear the fuel pump kick on, the starter turns like it should motor sounds as though it wants to start but will die. Turn the key again and starts like a champ. Happens when engine is cold and after its warmed up. A few times I thought the car had started and tried to put the car in gear or in reverse and then realize the cars not running lol. Anyways I have seen some possibilities of a fuel pressure issue to cam position sensor. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or knows of a way to get this fixed.

Check fuel pressure. Probably the fuel pump. There is a check valve that is not working right and is letting the fuel run back into the tank.
