Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Engine not starting -need help please

you would need to do a security learn, key to run for 10 minutes, then off for less then 10 seconds, do that 3 times. 4 th time it will crank.

if your battery is weak put a charger on it, or jumper cables to another car. the bat can die, its on for 30 minutes.

No I left it on in the run position for 30 minutes then off for 10 seconds, repeat 3 times, and no crank. Only tried the 30 minutes when 15 minutes on the run position did not help. One thing that is not helping matters is the security light on the dash does not blink or stay illuminated during the security relearn procedure.

on for 30 wont do jack either. maybe something else. its a pretty specific thing to do, 10 mins on, off for like 5 seconds, back on for ten mins off for 5 seconds, back on for 10 mins off then crank it over. i used the timer on my phone for this.

turn the key to run, then jump the starter motor, if it cranks and fires up its key or ignition harness or something funky like that.

does the old stock pcm let it crank over? or thats dead too?

That's what I figured. Thanks again for the help. I will update when I can afford to get this done as to the results.

security light needs to be on during the learn procedure, its always 10minutes x 3 rounds, it may be a different system passlock/passkey/etc

one thing you can do is on your original PCM, look for a dark blue wire used to go insid ethe car, then go on ebay and get a 30/50 hz ground pulse simulator and wire it up to trigger the passlock (the disable signal is a 30 or 50 hz grouind pulsed signal present only during cranking)
when the pcm see's it your good to go and it wont kill it.
the benefit of this is that you can kill the starter power feed to it and have the system enabled as a theft deterent

Turbocharged400sbc, that is an awesome cheap fix and engineering figuring. I already took the pcm back to the junkyard thinking it might be bad. I am waiting for another one to show up that doesn't have water damage! For some reason 3 are in the yard that have obviously been submerged. Anyways will pick up another pcm try the security relearn procedure again, then move onto the ground pulse simulator. I have most of it already in hand, ingenious idea, that's why I love these forums. Thanks again.

Problem fixed finally. Took car with new computer to the dealership to reprogram for theft detterant system. After mechanic was done car started right up. No problem's yet, car is running fine now. Thanks everyone for your help.
