Engine main bearing cap removal

Hello. I got rid of the GTP a while ago and got a firebird. Long story short after many mods and a lot of fun, the engine is all kinda of messed up.

I cannot find any information anywhere on my firebird forums so figured I'd ask here since it is the same engine different platform.

How do I get the main bearing caps off to take the crankshaft out?

And here is the culprit problem for doing so...

look on the side of the block for side bolts into the caps. if no other bolts are found a tap to the side of the cap should pop it loose.

there are no more bolts you just need to wiggle it out, they sit in there tight

also try taking like 2 short screwdrivers or something and sticking them in the bolt holes to get leverage to wiggle it back and forth till you can get something undernieth it

another thing to note. do not mix those bearings up unless you plan on getting it machined and replaced. Just take the crank out use plastigauge to check if your clearances are ok and put it back together exactly how it came out. I honestly wouldnt be going that far into the engine unless you have a reason to

Eventually got the mains off. Everything is out of the engine except for the cam bearings in which we can't find a place that rents the tool.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a shop that machines engines/heads?
