The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
you dont use a gasket on the al pan, you use a rtv type sealer. and i think you need a new motor mount, as it bolts to the pan, instead of that bracket, may even need a different oil filter housing.
someone posted up part #"s and cost a while back for all the parts new.
Pan 12597244
Pickup tube 24506437
Mount bracket 10345562
not sure on pricing I get a discount ill have to check in Monday. I snow someone said it's not much more than the steel pan so why not I like the idea of no sealant
Yeah..it'll work fine. I've done it a bunch of times.
On that rear main. Do the rear engine cover gasket. I'm assuming that's one of the bolts that backed out. They are in with such low torque that I see that gasket seeping more commonly than the rear main itself. As long as the cover is off, obviously you do the rear main, but the cover gasket, I like to increase torque a ft lb or two and add some locktite to the bolts.
Yeah a rear cover bolt is what backed out... I'm replacing the cover gasket and rear main because there is some seepage. I Ordered the parts for my aluminum pan as well.
one question I did have is... I want to replace the flex pipe (I just purchased the speed daddy headers $216 shipped when I called them and ill have them by thursday) I guess they leak? ... Anyways what size flex do I need? I'm going to order one from ZZP today with some various other things like a shift kit and dev6
