Spartan GL

Specialist Walter US Army
Florida turnpike got flooded yesterday water up to my wheel-well.
Cold Air intake Sucked up alittle water

Engine Hydrolocked according to the Dealership

My Insurance Company might be footing the bill for a new engine
200$ deductable.

Question B: Failing the Salvageability of the Engine, Best place to Purchase a brand new L67?

Question C: If my Insurance doesnt wanna pay for a new one, best place to find a Used/rebuilt one?

Question D: If engine is Salvageable how long does a Rebuild generally take?

Question E: How long does a New Motor Swap take, and what other items would i wanna replace while I'm at it.

As long as you didn't bend a rod you should be good, just drain it and see if it runs.

I almost did the same thing here in town when we got a bad rainstorm, I had steam coming off of the front plog there was so much water.

Has your insurance company seen your Cold air intake? And they will pay? I would imagine they would reject that claim. It's a modification to the original design. Consider yourself lucky. Good for you.
