No they werent the,fine tip ones but i will double check and gap to .050

Wow every thing you said I had the same problems mine drove me crazy and cost me 400 bucks labor and parts I didnt need.
 
Just want to say,thank you to everyone,for the feed back after 350 bucks spent the problem was the idle air control valve. Put a new one in yesterday ive drove 100 miles since and car is no longer sputtering at highway speeds
