Engine Bay Pics

I decided to paint my engine bay this weekend (finally)
The paint was metal flakes by dupoint. It is a two step process. First you spray a metal flake silver, then you put whatever color you want over the flakes, and they show threw the paint. It turned out good EXCEPT I decided to do something cool, and make the letters GP on the paint. I sprayed the ground coat (silver flakes) I let it dry for 2 hours, and then placed two stick on letters down and painted the blue. Apparently i did not wait long enough because when i took the letters off, they pulled the silver flake paint off (in patches) with them. I will fix that later so dont mind it. Paint looks patchy due to its shinyness I promise its all even coated and looks great in person!!!

Looks good. I can see the paint strokes on the top of your engine cover. I can tell which way you painted. Metallic paint is pretty hard to master on getting it to lay well. You did pretty good if I do say so myself.

I agree with the GP painted on...I'd loose it all together personally.
