I'm swapping a prochard l32 and 65ehd trans into my 95 cutlass..it's pretty straight forward but you need some things from a 98/99 lumina ltz..that is the only Gen 1.5 that had a l36 in it so you need wire harnass, power steering lines, down pipe, pcm and obd2 parts as a 95 is obd 1.5, axle, and a few on terror parts but it's pretty straight forward..
Damn, if it takes terror parts, maybe just getting another car would be easier, lol. They're easily had for under $2k, under $1k if engine/trans problems, then you have everything you need and it's just a matter of swapping a motor or trans.
I got my cutlass convertible for 900 bucks..fixed current motor and it runs but slow..got a l32 and trans for 350 bucks, procharger kit for 1k, vs cam 150, other swap parts about 300bucks...so for under 2k I'll have close to 400whp 95 convertible sleeper..keeping everything else stock and the 3.4badging on it..lol
Lmao..was at a shop sitting collecting dust..lol..called and asked for a price and that's what they said..I was like yes please take my money..it was a complete motor with all accessories and wiring harnass..insane ...I just wanted the block and heads..gonna be selling the Gen v stuff.
yeah strut towers gone on my 98 gtp but found a 95 gtp with blown head gasket for 500$ thats the reason for the post. i knew about the harness and pcm deal wasnt to sure about anything else.
