hello all I need advice on the best way to upgrade the power in our cars. I have the 2001 grand prix se 3.1L.
currently the amp I have installed now is the PPI bk 520.4 It is a class A/B channel amp and can draw 80 amps.
IT is ran with 8g kicker wire to my front battery. Wishing I would have went with 4g but alot of people said it will not make a noticeable difference.q
the secondary amp I am going to install is the soundqubed 1200.
It is rated at 1200w rms and is fused for 120 amps
So I need to be able to satisfy both amps. Intially I was going to do another run of 4g but It does not seem that 4g will do 1200rms at 17ft.
So I do not know if I need to do 1/0 and wheres the best place to run it and what upgraded under the hood battery I should have and wether or not to do big 3.
