Electrical problems~ :(

So last Thursday morning my whole dash turned off and on like it shorted out. Worked fine afterwards.. Then that night my radio quit working completely, but worked fine next time I got in it. THEN Saturday morning I was pulling out of the parking lot, and the whole thing died. NOTHING worked. No headlights, hazards, nothing. Only thing on was the anti-theft light. Got looking at it today, and the wires going from battery and HID kit to the fuse box under the hood were melted at the box. Any ideas?

Do you happen to have a pic of the area that was melted?

I'll get one tomorrow. I wanna check all the fuses while I'm up there.

Just hoping I didn't fry the PCM or anything.

Well, it's fixed. lol.. Roommate threw away the cables before I got up there. The cable from battery to fusebox was toast. Was arcing on the plate at the top of the fusebox. All fixed and running fine. Scarred me a little.
