EGR valve on a 1998 GTP

I upgraded to a zzp computer and they can actually delete all evap and egr codes from the reflash pcm.

Correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't egr also help reduce knock?

By pumping dirty exhaust gasses into your engine and eventually clogging things up and causing more trouble than it's worth.
You'd be better off with a meth or water injection if your concerned about that.

it MIGHT help for cruising knock (which can be fixed easily with a tune with or without an EGR) but its not gonna help with knock because the valve is closed when most have knock issues anyway...

Why would someone want to pump Hot gases into the intake when we are all trying to LOWER intake temps??

egr does lower combustion temps.

ice, egr post TB, intake temps have nothing to do with it.

If one were concerned with intake temps, maybe the l67 is not right for you
