EFI Live QUESTION

so from what i've gathered efi can't tune our grand prix's.. but does anyone know if it will scan and detect things like KR or anything? buddy of mine has one and was wanting to know if anyone has tried before.. goin there tonight to try but thought i could try and get a heads up
 


It can scan our car just like a basic scanner and you can tweak with stuff like gas gauge reading backwards and just small stuff. But it won't tune our cars. IMO its a waste to have if you drive a grand prix. I would for sure invest in a HP tuner! Also its not just a LS1..it can tune g6 lol! Its just more base around bigger motors or LSX motor! But there is some smaller V6 it can tune.

EDIT: Also just seen you have a 03..I really don't know if it will read your car. I do know it read my friends 06 and my 07.

do you know if it will scan for KR?
 
I would think it would. I didnt actually do a "run" to scan it.I just plugged it in just to see if it would.

oh ya.. my buddy had a duramax.. why he has the efi live. that truck was sick man.. blew away several camaros and several other vehicles... we never could find a vette to race tho :th_tongue2:
 
wait, so if it'll fix backwards gas gauges, then that means you could combine the EFI and Overkill on the 06+ and get it working right??????

:th_biggrin2: It did for me! I didn't use Overkill I had a local guy do mine with a HP! :th_thumbsup-wink: Then turned around and hooked up the EFI and fixed it!! I have said this a million times in other post but no one listens to me! LOL
