so the other day (before my tranny was having problems...and my tranny isn't having problems due to this lol) I see this ignoramus ricer boy with a red honda civic and no muffler of any kind jet extremely loudly through my apartment complex and almost hit 3 kids and came dangerously close to plowing into a car. Where I live it has a nice little 1/4 mile so every ricer boy thinks he's got what it takes to go through there at 45 MPH top speed LOL!...After this incident I said to myself, "if I find that kid Im going to race him, and show him what a GTP can do." Sure enough he comes through my place again. I trail him, and find him driving in to a local walmart and asked him politely for a race. Long story short...I win. Why does every ricer boy that has exhaust and intake, and possibly headers think that they can break away from anything but a lawn mower? I'm not bagging on the actual car, I used to have an EK 2000 Hatch which I loved. I didn't try to race anything though...I'm sorry but I don't have this mentality of trying to race everything I see. I'm just bagging on the stupid ricer boys who think they've got some huge donkey wang because he has a HONDA CIVIC. Get something better and with a little more muscle and then we can talk.

I dont mind hondas at all. But the people who drive them usually drive me crazy. I beat some guy in yellow CRX once and he's like "I would win too if i was driving my mommy and daddys car" Im like wtf? Not like these cars cost a fortune. I paid for all of it.
 
yeah, for sure! Like I said I had a Honda and I loved it, but I have the mental capacity for abstract thought, and 9 times out of 10...this is not the case for these guys lol.

If they don't, they troll and say "Damn you showed him" LOL!!! I know what you meant though. its just these inexperienced kids that think their the best thing on the road and can do what ever they want and get away with it.... its just a matter of killing their little bloated ego and letting them know their role. i.e. i know this kid who has a beat up non turbo automatic convertible ~97 eclipse that says he races bmws, doesnt win but keeps up..

I've done that. its a little more plausible when i say it because A: my cars not fast but it sure as hell aint slow. and B: i know how to drive. well.
 
My silver hood flames are kind of a ricer magnet. They see it and think,"Oooo, that guy will race me!" Of course I will. I'm never too busy to take a ricer to school. There are so many, and many of their cars are so bad. Oddly the people with nice, high powered cars don't even bother to race around here. They know what they have and see no reason to gloat on the street, especially given the risks involved. I would agree, but that little voice in my head tells me to never say no to a ricer.
 
agreed. i seem to make friends with GTO's and G8's quite often but.

i was cruising on a curvy mountain road just after a rain storm. this guy in a short bed single cab ~02 f-150 comes to a stop sign doesnt stop, cuts me off. so i get up on him rev my engine a hair simply to say, hey youre a dick then i back off. so he down shifts and takes off (4 things i learned one its a sixer, its a manual, hes a redneck from arizona, and with no muffler.) so he takes off and i stay with him close but not too close because of the rain and my tires suck ass. we get up to 60ish thru the curves he starts slowin down, straight away comes, i go over the yellows and give it lots o gas like im going to pass him, i dont on purpose just to scare him, he takes off to like 80 and then it gets super curvey. and he remembers hes in a pickup that can't corner.


People need to realize which fights they pick and the weapons they use in said fights.
