Hey guys im wanting to convert to e85. I just had a question about the necessity of upgrading the stock fuel pump. Some people say upgrade some people say stock with a hotwire is fine. Also since im topswapped i know the gtp have 2 speed pumps and mine is one speed but i couldnt find any info on if the gt pumps have the same fuel flow rate. Tha ks everyone!

A gtp pump will start losing pressure around the 3.0 pulley range, dependant on a few things. You should be fine down to about a 3.2, I would think.

Connect a pressure gauge on a long hose to the fuel rail. Tape it to the windshield and go for a ride. If it build pressure with boost all the way through WOT, then you have enough pump.

Only if it can't keep up, do you need to upgrade.
