E85 Question.

Can a standard tune convert your car to E85 or is there something special I would have to do? Also, how are so many people running E85? I looked up stations and there aren't any around me. Am I missing something?

apparently scott has been preaching that if you toss in 42.5# injectors completely untuned it's nearly perfect for flow requirements to switch to e85 on the stock tune.

i wouldnt personally do it, but the math seems to prove out in my head.

this^, id still highly recommend a tune with it though. IF you are going to drop pulleys, youll probably need 60#ers. I'm running E85 and i love it, but this drought is killing the price making it impossible to break even gas-cost wise. Its like 3.30 a gallon here compared to 3.70ish for premium. PM me if you have more questions.

I want to pull the trigger, but the nearest gas station is around 25 miles from me. If a gas station with E85 pops up closer to me, I'll jump on it for sure.

I would not switch to E85 on a daily driver unless stations are readily available and you have a tuner.
