E85 Cold Starts-- How bad are they?

I want to run e85 on the GTP, but there is one thing that worries me.
The GTP is my backup car, and is intended to be my Snow vehicle, because The GP are tanks in snow, and I don't want to drive my 2015.
Ive heard cold starts are rough on e85, how bad are they? is it hit or miss if your going to get it started or does it take a little more cranking?

I have DHP so I can tune it for e85. I live in VA and temps last winter got to around 0*F but usually stay in the 10s, 20s or 30s

Im hoping to catch a good deal on BF for some injectors.

Hard.

YOu can only tune the 3800 pcm so much, there arent really enough tables that you can change to help with the starting issues.

Having a block heater or something similar on the car might make it easier but I wouldnt want to run it in the cold winter.

E85 goes to **** in the winter and sub zero starts on stock motors are hard to begin with. I was thinking about switching back in September but decided against it (Im set up to run it, just need a tune). Having even worse milage, poor performance, and having to pulley up in the winter just sounds way to ****ty to even think about switching in December

They're tempermental for sure. I've got to feather the throttle for a bit before it idles right, but once it's started, it runs.

I live in NC and still had problems with cold starts. Like 20-30* and I have to give it gas to get it started. But then again, E85 is like GTP crystal meth, so....

well I was thinking about it, in order to fully utilize an intercooler with a 3.0 id need injectors anyway.
So I figure ill buy them, tune for e85 if it works then awesome, if it doesn't, then no loss except some time.

We have similar temps here. I would usually switch back to premium fuel once the temp in the morning was around 20°. It just starts too hard when it's that cold.
