e-85

I think you gave us no information to base our opinion on. What is done to your car? Can you tune? Is it readily available by you?

I would suggest having your own tuner, that way if you leave town and can not get e85 you can switch the tune back, you will also need injectors.

its a big jump 65lb injectors mininum, dual fuel pumps to be on the safe side, yea you make more HP on a proper tune but you go through alot more fuel and its got a high water content so you should change your oil and plugs more often.

well alright then, if i got to go through getting all that **** then screw that, i knew i had to get tune and injectors but no extras on fuel pump. What else can you guys suggest to get next then?

I assume your supercharged? You could do modded rockers, tune and pulley drop. you dont need dual pumps for e-85.

yea 04 gtp, and honest opinion here, over all if i did go e-85, could i get away with just injectors and a tune? And is it true that if you drop in pulley size, that it puts alot more stress on the tranny and it will go out quicker.

anytime you add things to make power it will put more strain on the driveline and stuff will break more. I would wait for e85 untill you have done more to the car and have a feel for it.

with your mods you have stay away from e85 you dont need it. either go with rockers or even a mild cam double roller wouldnt be a bad investment drop pulley size intercool it for sure. build the tranny and u will have a nice daily driver still on pump fuel. just my .02

You don't need 2 fuel pumps...in fact...all you need is a stock pump and a pump re-wire. Our pumps are fine from the factory. Also, if I were doing E85 I wouldn't skimp and go with 80's. Why? I'd rather have too much fuel than not enough.

Sounds good. Is there anything else you can think of to do to my car thats not going to blow the tranny for a while anyways.

My thoughts...screw E85. Get a tuner...put 100% Methanol Injection on it and go to a 3.4"
