• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Dyno charts and near motor destruction!

Frosty

I Write E85 Stickies
Just finished putting my intercooler and 3.0 pulley on when my buddy decides to tell me that there is a mobile dyno 30min away.... had not even begun tuning..... well curiosity got the best of me and we went anyways... did the pulls in open loop (because pcm was trying to trim -10%!!!) and im pretty sure the hptuners scan said I was pulling mid 12s for fuel but it sure as hell was fun.... will probably make even better power tuned

Motor has neverf had the heads or oil pan off with 165,000k on the clock.... it survived

298whp was max.... we didnt start the run at a low enough rpm to get true torque but it still hit 287wtq

Was going to question the tq numbers then looked at the mod list again basically a gen5 e85 ic'd rocker car. Nice numbers for a pretty simple combo! More tuning and I'm sure you'll crack 300 in both hp and tq.

Spent this morning doing tuning. Got all of the narrowband trims near 0 again. Just gotta do Wide Fluffing Open stuff now. Might go back and see if they would let me run again without paying another 65$

Hell ive seen rockered cars making over 330 wtq with similar mods but a pull starting from a certain rpm makes a difference.

I love the bag of ice lol. I've always considered doing that at the track between runs but I figured it would just immediatelly melt the bag and get sticky plastic and water everywhere...

It sat on it for 45 mins with the car idling while they guy tried to figure out a good tach input and then went through 3 pulls and still had a decent amount of slush afterwards. The key is to make sure theres no holes in the bag so it stays filled with water.... if the water leaks out I imagion the plastic could melt. Mine probably lasts so long because my coolant ports in the blower are blocked and the intercooler does a wonderful job of not only cooling the air but also keeping my blower 50+ degrees cooler. My laser temp thingy said my blower was 95* so thats pretty awesome.
