Dumb question of the day

wow, yes you indeed win, maybe dumb question of the year lol. Just my 2 cents here, but if you can't figure this out, i don't think you should be into it any deeper then the cover...

lmfao...... i sooo wanted to say that... but im in nice mode tonight. this literally has me in tears from laughing. probably shouldnt bother popping the hood release

after you pull the cover make sure your horn fluid is full :) dont want the bearings to sieze.

Thanks, you guys are great!

For the record I just purchased the car for my son. I am currently out of town but know I need to clean the throttle body this weekend and was just wondering.

The horn fluid is fine. I checked it after I changed the air in the tires.

Mr. Clean works excellent on the TB, make sure you open it up and spray the garden hose right in the front. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Theres the oil filler neck and a bolt type deal on top of the cover I wouldnt used simple green it reacts badly with some metals
Get some carb cleaner or seafoam aresol spray

only the gtp cover has the bolt on the top. the n/a cover is just held down by a bracket in the back.
