i got my whole old system back that i sold 5 months ago, for $500 back for $100. (see sig) well i only had one hooked up on the ride to school this morning and it blew. WTF. looks like im gettin a 15in L7

Do you have something against the deck lid or something? Please tell me your not going to put a 15" JL L7 woofer in the TRUNK of a GRAND PRIX!!! Theres not enough air space for that thing to operate properly. You need an SUV or a hatchback or something with a large capacity for a sub that size. Go with a twin set of 12"s or even 10"s if you going L7s

Besides IMO 15s don't move enough to get good bass response. If theres a fast bass beat you just get BOOOOOWWWWWWWWW for like different beats and it makes the song sound crappy. 12's work best for rap and hip-hop because it can move the sub faster and have a more defined response to each hit. 10's work best if your listening to hard rock or something similar that uses a bass drum that has a really fast beat. Again, just my personal opinion... do what you want, just food for thought :th_thumbsup-wink:
