Dual heating controls manual to digital display??

theres a digital display in a gp in the local junk yard. I like how it lights up and looks newer than how on the newer gp's they had the dual climate without the digital display. since their both dual control, would the older one with the digital display plug right into my 2001? same size and everything? thanks!
 


Simple answer is no. There is a lot more to the digital CC unit than the newer manual ones.

The complicated answer is yes, and without actually going into it, I'll just let you know it is NOT worth your time. Unless you really have nothing better to do with your weeks than wiring wiring and wiring...
