I get that... But A SSIC and pump, used, isn that expensive. I dont really need/want much more power out of it than I already have as Im not touching the tranny. Just thought it would be cool.

So, a used ssic core that probably will suck trying to seal up, pump, heat exchanger, reservoir, lines, electrical, gaskets, bolts. That'll cost you what, $600-700 all said and done??? For 30hp???

When, if you watch, you can find used cartuning kits for $1500.

Youre not following me at all on this...

All I would need is the core and pump. I have nearly all the rest just laying around. No way I would be doing this if I had to buy a whole new kit. Im just bored with it and dont feel like putting a cam in or turboing it when Im not sure how much longer Ill even have it.

If I net a few HP, great... If I dont see much gain, well its different... I quit really caring how "fast" it is and just wanna play with it for a while.

That is.... if its ok with you....
 
Do what you want. If you don't want advice, don't post here. I can waste my time trying to help someone that doesn't have their mind made up already.
 
You offered no advice to my main question. You just did the typical "thats a dumb idea" style of offering "advice". Thats surprisingly not very helpful at all. So, you can think its dumb, stupid, etc... (in the end, it may be) but as I said in the very beginning. I really dont care... I want something different. I just want it to function as well as it can.

Now again, if you have advice to offer on making it function better, I am all ears and open to ideas.
 


one thing that makes me wonder about its effectiveness is if the supercharger has the capacity to move the volume of air through all the extra space the intercoolers would add
