Dual batteries

So, i had a idea to put two optima batteries up front in my 02 gp gt, I was thinking about taking out the air box, adding a cone air filter, making a semi water proof housing for the pcm, then mount a battery on top of It, I would rather not put a battery in the trunk. anyways i was wondering if anybody ever did this before, because if they haven't, i will do a write-up, om also planning on doing a writeup on the big 3 upgrade, and installing a amp 0/1 gauge wiring kit

I'm going to run 2 batteries so that I can install a powerful amp for some sub woofers, I'm also installing a 260amp alternator, and upgrading alternator positive to battery positive wire, battery negative to chassis wire and engine ground to chassis wire to 0/1gauge wire (Ie the big 3 upgrade), and the reason for installing the battery up front rather than in back like most people do is because if you put your battery in the trunk, it is always a different temp than the one up front, so it chargers a little differently, also I'm not a fan of having a battery in my trunk

Im going to save matt a lot of time and say that is pointless and will actually hurt your electrical system instead of help it. especially with a H/O alt. save the time and money. big three and H/O good idea second battery bad. unless you wanted to sit with your car off listening to music for say six hours then you could justify it but if your doing that why not get a little battery powered stereo. just saying. if you would like me to explain why I will but its easier to just say trust me
