DRL re route



You could do what I do. I pulled the DRL Fuse and just turn headlamp switch to parking lights and fog lights in the daytime.
 
Was the OPs question ever answered? I've done a bit of research and haven't found a guide to run just halos on drls. I'll be doing a retrofit soon so wiring into*parking lights shouldn't be an issue, just need a 8-12v source to the halos. Any ideas? Do I just need the yellow wire for power?

I have been thinking about something similar on my 07. The only thing I could think of to determine the difference between daytime and night would be to either tap into the sensor on the dash or use the signal that turns on the lights for the gauges.
