Driver-Side Window Issues

Hello folks,

I recently bought my mom a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix. I gave $300.00 dollars for it. The original owners of the car ran it low on fluid and burned the third gear clutch pack up. I have installed another trans-axle in it and everything is doing great on it. The body is in great shape and the interior is clean. Now I have to work on some minor issues with it. All of the windows are electric and work however, the driver side window does not. Here's what I have checked and done:

1. I have changed the window switches out with another set on the driver side (no dice)
2. I have gotten another regulator from the salvage yard and plugged it in outside the door to see if that was the issue (no dice)
3. I have checked the voltage on the passenger window, it takes 9.6 volts for the motor to move the regulator up and down according to my test. when I checked the driver-side motor plug, it gets 9.6 volts when the switch is pressed. It has the auto down on the driver side. when i was checking the volts I had noticed that the relay for the auto down was clicking like it was suppose to when the switch was pressed.

I need to know where to go from here. If I need to check something different, or recheck something let me know.

Thanks,

I'm not familiar enough with the 95's, but would it be possible to try the drivers motor on the pass. side and see if it works?

That may work for testing purposes. What I'm wondering now is if some one would be nice enough to tell me how to get the regulator out of the door. A step by step would be nice. I already have the door panel off and out of the way.
