DP ticking

hey guys just installed a 3" zzp catless dp and i have a ticking noise...thought it was a gasket leak so i checked and resealed them they def arent leaking i took them to an exhaust shop and they said the gaskets are good....so that leaves me two options...one i heard DP's sometimes have a dreaded tick noise that can usually be fixed with a good wrap job or the felx joint is leaking i inspected the joint looks good so im lost im hoping it just needs wrap that will be nice and easy....:th_thumbsup-wink:

are you sure it is coming from the DP itself? what about the welds around the flanges? are you hearing it from under your feet? or more toward the front of the car?

i think more the front but from outside the car i can barely notice it...the flanges look great the only thing i can think of is the flex leaking but i think i will wrap the shyt out of it and see if it muffles it because my car pulls way harder with a 304 zzp offroad pipe and i got it on the cheap

let us know if it clears up by wrapping it. chances are that is why the person got rid of it for cheap....

ok cool will do man he said it never ticked but he wrapped it immediately when he got it so he never ran it bare....we'll see what happens

Let me know if that fixes it. My ZZP DP has ticked from day one.
