Im looking at down pipes for my 05 gtp and im not sure what options i will need. i was looking on zzp. I want to keep it street legal and occasional strip car. any help?
 


a bolt in pipe WITH CAT will come with a high flow cat.

you may or may not throw the P0420, you wont know until you run it.
 


ok well id get really annoyed if it kept tellin me to check my engine. will i notice gains if i get this zzp down pipe a wizaired intake and a 180 degree tstat?
 
ok cuz i have a ****ty autozone cone filter it sounds cool but i don't think its doin much. should i get the tstat or no?
 


t stat will do no good, your fans arent set to come on at 180*... need a tune to benefit 180 t stat..... that comes further down the line into modding.
 
how far are you looking to take the car? you should consider headers you can get them for almost as cheap as the dp with a powerlog to replace your front manifold( which is another restrictive area in the factory exhaust setup).
 
i was thinkin the ported manifolds after the down pipe. i want to do alot but i dont want to do a smaller pulley. i would be happy running 14.2 in the 1/4 i run a 14.83 now
