Can someone please post a how to for installation of a double din in a 99 grand prix gt I looked everywhere and all i saw was that people did do it before and I've seen pictures but got links that don't say anything about how to do it I would really appreciate it if someone could do me a favor and post one up

Oh and what is fabbing?

awesome do you think i should cut off the part separating the radio and the temp controls or just cut closer to the air vents, i dont understand why pontiac would do a 1 3/4 din...

depends on double din. some can leave the piece there others your going to have to cut. i cut the section where the climate control is at and then used abs pieces then bondo on top that. on some customers the bondo wasnt needed. and the hole will have to be cutout (the backside where the radio sits) dremel will get the job done.

is it possible to reinstall the stock with the hole cut out? and should i dremel the dash bezel? and in that case will i have to bondo it, sorry about the questions, i just only have one dash and i dont wanna mess it up

You can reinstall the stock radio but it would look like ass. I would still look into getting a extra dash so you always have the option to go back to stock. You will more than likely need some body filler to make it look decent.
