Door pillars ! Help

[GrandPrixGTP1]

So my door pillars like many other peoples cars are somewhat rusted:th_angry2:.
Ive bought those stupid overlays which didnt fit:th_angry1: after them sending me another set, so there useless and wouldnt of looked very good anyways..

where do i get OEM door posts/pillars ?
i need em for an 02 Grand Prix.

Advice would be much appreciated.

Mine were looking kind of ratty too so I replaced them. To get new ones, I don't think you have a choice other than from GM. Go to the dealer or someplace like gmpartsdirect.com.

They were about $160 for all of them for a 4 door. List price at the dealer is higher.

take them all off, carefully, and hit them with some paint.

Im planning on doing what Bio said. But im going to sandblast and powdercoat them in summer.

how in the h3ll do you get these off?!?! 2 gps at my local pick and pull have these in a++ condition for 20$ set of 4

Isn't it just the two screws? On the inside of the door.

yea i think you need to pull the rubber channel off to get at the other screws

Dont buy the overlays. they dont fit. wasted around $60 including shipping and there sitting in my garage. they also look dumb because there overtop of existing pillars.

Pull off the weather stripping and theres three screws and then theres two on the inside of the door and thats it.
