Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I went to change the tb gasket and for some reason decided to pull the pleunm off and clean it out and what not. So I put everything back and put the fuel rails back down and started it up. it runs but It seems like it might be misfiring or somthing every 3-4 seconds it kind of coughs I'm not really sure what could be wrong on it so If anyone could point me in a direction to start and look

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Yes, the PCV could cause it. Make sure you have the 2 o-rings in there, one on the PCV itself and then another in the lip of the UIM.

I just pulled the pcv out it was really dirty I wiped it off and stuck it back in there and I don't really know if it ade a diffrence it didnt sound as bad but its still wants to die if you let off the gas how would I go about finding a vacuum leak? as far as I can tell everythings connected right

gona be hard to tell with how loud my exhaust is but Ill go try that. Is there anyway that the pcv valve itself could cause it this cause it was really wet in there Im thinking maybe it got sprayed with the hose when I had it off idk

i haven't had mine out ever, so im not sure if these cars, the pcv valve rattles or not, if its supposed to rattle and don't its clogged. i think thats how it goes.

can't find my carb cleaner just saw it yesterday... but I did start it again and when it coughs I do see some smoke or vapor of some kind. it also smells very rich

I would spray carb/brake cleaner all around where the UIM seals to the LIM, around the TB area and all vac. lines there. Also, check the accordian pipe on the EGR to make sure that it isn't cracked as they like to split in between the folds of the metal.

With it running rich it does sound like a vac leak of some sort. And yes, if the PCV rattles its good. Oil on it is normal. It's doing its job.

Maybe disconnect the MAF and see how it runs? Couldn't hurt to try.

when it stops theres some belt squeel everytime idk if that means anything now Im having trouble keeping it idleing long enough to spray it I didn't really notice any change spraying around the uim and with the maf unpluged it wouldnt run at all

I guess I'm going to go un hook and re hook everything to make sure nothing is missing but I'm pretty sure I got eveything maybe I messed up my injectors... I did rub the tips of them with sea foam and a rag I don't see how that would mess them up but idk

long shot, but did you un hook the battery when you unhooked everything? if not may be you could un hook it and hope the pcm resets.

its not throwing any codes everythings hooked up and there are no vacuum leaks that i have found so far... I mean it still seems like a vacuum leak but a whole hose would have to be un hooked to make it this bad I deal with it tomorrow

Put the plug wires on the correct cylinders please. It's amazing how nice they'll run if you do that one thing.

:th_king-evil: It's funny...because I'm about 95% that I'm right.

God ***** Bill do you always got to be right lol man I don't know what I would do with out you telling me how to fix my problems all the time...you got some beer money coming your way
