Wow this is old, but what's the difference between asking here and opening another thread.

I decided I'd donate since this site has helped me save so much money, it's really only fair to help back and give at least some of what I can afford. I went through the process of a $10 donation, and paypal confirmed the transaction and everything. I got this message and am wondering if the donation went through or not? It seems not since the message says it's unconfirmed and another will be sent when it's confirmed. (I haven't received one saying confirmed)

Do I need to do something to manually confirm the transaction?
 


I don't have a "donating user" thing like others do, so it must have not gone through. Anyone donate recently and know what this means?
 
If they are still doing it this way, "Donating User" is a group that a moderator manually has to add you to. After that, you can change your user title in settings.

when it was first setup it was supposed to be processed and the user group was added automatically.

for a while it's been broken and we've had to do it manually for people that ask about it.
 
Oh okay. I'm more concerned about the money I sent actually doing something lol. However/whenever it gets confirmed.
