dome lights wont shut off 1998 grand prix gt 2 door 3800 II

ok so my dome light/courtsey lights wont shut off at all. Its on when im driving, when the cars off. I've pulled the fuse for now but i'v tried everything. it worked for about a week or two when i unhooked the battery but went right back to staying on all the time. i know i didnt leave them on and all doors are shut all the way. i dont think it could be a door switch cause it would tell me on the dash. so please help me out
 


the dimming switch on the left of the steering wheel. Its clicked all the way to full brightness which keeps the dome lights on.
