Dog bone flip?

There are people that use the bonnie coil pack bracket and run with only one upper dogbone. The problem is that some of them have then broken the one remaining bracket. I'd leave both unless you're doing something with the lower mounts to limit travel as well.

Oohhh, so its a different kind of bracket setup...they look the same. Now if I do a LS4 swap should I get an upper dogbone bracket off the LS4 W-Body models?

what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 52 degrees??????????????? u arkansas boys got things way to easy. hell i dropped a motor in my friends this winter with a windchill off the lake of -35 degrees.

good question but again why would u remove one. hell if the ls4 ones r better and only need one ill go put two of them on mine...move now motor, i dare u!!!!!!!!!!!!lol

Keep them both IMO they are there for a reason...plus a few bolt ons for a L67 car makes more torque than a LS4.

Please clear it up for me but I'm not understanding the benefit of this LS4 whooptie doo dog bone swap...why can't you just leave the stock 3800 ones there and flip the stockers or put polys in? Maybe I am missing something but idk.

I'm not saying the LS4 dog bones are some awesome swap... I'm simply asking if there is anything beneficial, even if its a little bit, about potentially swapping them. No need to criticize me for asking a question to heed my curiosity.

Ummm...I was wondering myself...trust me...you'd know if I was criticizing. I just thought the LS4 mounts were identical to the L67 ones...which made me lean to think it was pointless to do...but if there was a difference for someone to come out and let us know...that's all I was saying.

question.
is it better to flip it or get shortened ones?

The mount and the dog bone itself are two separate things. You don't need shorter dog bones unless you have a lowered car. Flip your dog bone MOUNTS to get rid of engine movement...you can do it on a GT or GTP.
