Dog bone flip new mounts??

I am going to do my underneath motor mounts. Well I also bought new dog bone mounts. Is there an advantage/disadvantage to flipping new dog bone mounts? Is flipping them just allowing u to get double use out of a mount?

Yes flipped mounts > non flipped even if they are new. The flipping of the mounts just makes the stress points a lot more stiff do to the fact that the rubber is in a position that it can actually do something. Once you look at the mount you will see what I mean.

Flip those, get solid rubber lower mounts.

well Flip em if you don't want poly mounts in there.

If you look, the rubber is more solid top to bottom. When you flip them it's front to back which is what matters.

Flipped. Was super easy. I really didnt notice anything different but it didnt cost me anything.
