Does tuning on a pretty much stock car help much?

It is.

I learned like a boss in Russia with you.

Don't worry, no one REALLY cares.

But yes, a stock GTP will benefit from a tune, but it is wise to open up the restrictive exhaust side first...u-bend delete, downpipe, PLOG, or headers.

i was wondering if you guys could clear this up for me i was thinking and a stock L67 is tuned for 91oct right? well they only sell 93 here so wouldnt that be something to tune for on a stock gtp?

but could you have more timing or less timing im not sure whats better on 93oct? IIRC you want 0* of KR 14* of timing and a AFR of 14.7 at WOT on a ideal tune?

.....0KR is best but if you only see an occasional blip of up to 2 you're fine. you want MORE than 14* timing being run not just commanded. and want an AFR of about 11:1 on a stock car or near stock WOT.

ohhhh ok so a car with headers open cone plugs and a 3.6'' on a GenIII that would be a near stock car right?
