does anyone run a exhaust cut out ?

I was thinkink about getting my exhaust done with a custom down pipe but also installing a cut out what do u guys think will it help?
 


The down pipe may help a little and the cutout may also help a little. But they do have people traping 110+ on the stock catback.
 
it helps, but not necessary unless youre pretty modded. i think it would be cool to get one of those boost activated cutouts and put it on a switch so i could leave it closed when i want. would also scare the crap out of people when you start boosting.
 
ok so its offical then im getting a qtp electric cut out when i do my exhaust thanks i just dont want to hurt anything
 


Make sure it doesn't hang down too low... I put one on figuring the height would be good enough but it about punched a hole in my floor when i left a parking ramp... took it out and never thought about putting it back in.
